I really get it…

Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy for ADHD, Autism, and AuDHD Adults

Therapy for Neurodivergent Adults Who Are Tired of Masking ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, HSP, and Twice-Exceptional (2e) Therapy

The world wasn't built for your intensity. This space is.

Do you feel 'Too Much' and 'Not Enough' all at once?

You Might Be Here Because

  • The Translation Tax: You’re exhausted from constantly translating or “subtitling” your thoughts so other people can understand you. Conversations feel effortful, even when you’re highly intelligent and deeply self-aware.

  • The Static of Existence:  It’s not just a distraction. Your nervous system absorbs everything at once including the hum of the refrigerator, fluorescent lighting, clothing textures, emotional shifts in the room  and you’re still expected to “just focus.”

  • The Invisible Friction: Tasks that seem simple for others can require hours of executive functioning preparation. You’re tired of being labeled lazy, unmotivated, or inconsistent when you’re actually over-functioning internally.

  • The Identity Blur:  You’ve masked for so long that “being yourself” feels confusing. You don’t need more productivity advice. You need space to untangle who you are from who you had to become to survive.

  • The Post-Social Hangover:  Even positive social interactions can leave you emotionally, mentally, or sensory depleted for days afterward. Or needing at least three days in a dark room without sensory input to re-energize.

To my fellow neurodivergent humans:  Whether you are formally diagnosed, self-identified, or "just curious"—you are welcome here. I’m not here to "fix" your wiring; I’m here to help you stop apologizing for it.

How We Work: Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy, Not Behavioral Compliance

Traditional therapy often focuses on social performance, behavioral correction, or “fixing” traits that are actually adaptive nervous system responses.

We do not approach therapy that way.

Our work together focuses on reducing shame, understanding your nervous system, and building a life that supports your actual needs — not neuronormative expectations.

The Specializations

  • ADHD & AuDHD: We move beyond "productivity hacks" to tackle the internal mechanics of a Variable Attention system (VAST): rejection sensitivity (RSD), demand avoidance, and the "all-or-nothing" energy cycles. We process the paralyzing shame of the unfinished project and the burnout that comes from navigating a world not built for your brain.

  • Autism & Sensory Challenges: We focus on unmasking safely and navigating a world set to "too loud” or prioritizing sensory autonomy to navigate the friction of neuronormative expectations. This means building a life centered on sensory understanding and developing communication styles that honor your energy rather than leaving you depleted.

  • Giftedness & "2e" Intensity: We navigate the unique friction of being Twice-Exceptional—balancing high cognitive ability with neurodivergent challenges. We work through the perfectionism, existential anxiety, and "big brain" intensity that can feel both like a gift and a burden.

  • HSP (Highly Sensitive Person): Stop treating your deep processing like a bug and start treating it like a feature. We prioritize energy protection, robust boundary setting, and honoring the essential need for integration and downtime after periods of deep sensing. We tackle the 'Hyper-Empathy' trap—the exhausting, often protective habit of feeling responsible for the emotional climate of every room you enter.

  • Creatives & Visionaries: We navigate the subcortical "debris"—the trauma, shame, and "not good enough" narratives—that create creative blocks. By exploring these internal conflicts, we aim to restore your access to flow state and original expression.

What is AuDHD?

AuDHD refers to the experience of being both autistic and ADHD.

While research is still evolving, many people describe AuDHD as an internal tug-of-war between two competing nervous system needs:

  • The ADHD need for novelty, stimulation, and spontaneity

  • The autistic need for predictability, routine, and sameness

This can feel deeply confusing and exhausting.

You may crave structure while simultaneously resisting it. You may want consistency but struggle to maintain routines. You may feel internally split between exploration and stability.

In therapy, we stop trying to force a compromise that leaves both sides depleted.

Instead, we build systems that honor both the explorer and the librarian in your brain.

My Autism is my perseverance and grit.
My ADHD is my fuel and creativity.
